Makes 1 tomato gallete
Ingredients
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 4 heirloom tomatoes
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 2 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup mayonaise
- 1 dash garlic powder
- 1 dash onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black papper
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Thinly slice tomatoes and let sit on paper towels for at least 10 minutes
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- Mix together parmesan, cream cheese, mayonaise and spices
- Lay pie crust onto pan
- Spoon cheese mixture evenly across pie crust
- Place tomato slices onto cheese mixture, slightly overlapping
- Fold edges of dough to form a crust
- Brush crust with butter
- Bake ~ 45-60 minutes, brushing with butter every 10 minutes or so
