Makes 1 tomato gallete

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 4 heirloom tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup mayonaise
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 dash onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black papper
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice tomatoes and let sit on paper towels for at least 10 minutes
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
  3. Mix together parmesan, cream cheese, mayonaise and spices
  4. Lay pie crust onto pan
  5. Spoon cheese mixture evenly across pie crust
  6. Place tomato slices onto cheese mixture, slightly overlapping
  7. Fold edges of dough to form a crust
  8. Brush crust with butter
  9. Bake ~ 45-60 minutes, brushing with butter every 10 minutes or so
