I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Brain + Cognitive Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology working with Josh McDermott in the Laboratory for Computational Audition.
I study sound segregation, a key aspect of real-world hearing in which a sound source of interest is estimated amid a mixture of competing sources. I am broadly interested in teaching/outreach, psychophysics, computational approaches to represent stimulus spaces, and neural coding of high-level sensory representations.
